Table Decor

I have been having loads of fun with the Flower Cart ( I sooo love my Cricut ). Making the decorations for my sister's reception is a load of work and the best thing in the world! I wish it was my full time job, crafting and being creative is AWSOME!!!
Well, my sister is on a tight budget, who isn't these days? I am the biggest coupon FREAK!!! and so I am helping her in the only way possible - crafting! I made these wreaths for the tables with twigs from the yard! The flowers are paper, and the greenery came from two vines on a major sale with a bonus coupon! Woohooo! So we got ten tables decorated for about $20.00!
There are doves and tea lights, paper place mats and purple tinted water for the wine glasses. The tables are covered in fabric from my stash and all the paper was stamped and airbrushed. Coupons made the paper packs $2.50 or less! It was so fun, I also made 50 mini flowers for the napkin rings! Lots more left to do, I post more later. Take care.

Cards For Soldiers !

Just some Christmas cards to post for now. I really had fun making these. They are simple, the Cricut "plaid" card background was used on a white pre cut card. The card front was airbrushed to a contrasting color then Mod Podge was applied to the front. The Mod Podge acted as the glue for the plaid paper piece and gave the card the "glossy" coat; without it, the airbrushing feels gritty.
Wreath cutouts came from a single sheet of paper, unfortunately I cannot find the label for the paper pack, I used it for chipboard! The word Noel was cut out of chipboard and then embossed with the Recollections powder, it seemed to be the best one for me. It did not rub off and burned the least, in addition I could use a coupon at Micheals- under $3.00! WhooHoo!!!  The holly leaves came from Joys of the Seasons I think?
I had much fun using Cricut Craft Room this go round and so the cuts are saved if you need them sent to you. I was so proud of me! No Gypsy this time! Oh, yes I almost forgot, I ended up cutting out circles and gluing them down for the holly berries. The Pearl Drops stood out better this way. The cards were then embelished with red Pearl Drops and a gold Pearl Pen. I used the  gold Copic glitter pens and a brown stamp pad to enhance the leaves; Mod Podge then sealed in the glitter ( just in case ). Gold Pearl Pen further enhanced the leaves. This is fun and the cards go to a great cause, I cannot wait to make more, gotta think of something else!!
